The best thing about my new Masala diaper bag by Baby Kaed is that it doesn’t look like one. My first time out with it everyone commented on my cute bag. ‘Is it Coach?’ ‘Great color.’ (I got it in Tangerine). It’s not all about looks either. I wasn’t just looking luxurious and fashionable, I was organized.
The soft, pebbled leather bag is beautifully constructed, but designed for function and efficiency. The supple leather exterior extends to the long, substantial straps that stay in place. This is key as you try to fit your squirming toddler into a car seat and not fall apart as you lean into the open car. The spacious satin interior is expertly compartmentalized. There’s no more fumbling for you cell or lost binky. With pockets galore and great extras like a pacifier pouch, changing pad, wipes holder, drawstring sac and leather zip case, you’ll finally have a place for everything. As my daughter’s grown and I’ve streamlined my diaper bag contents, I’ve found that no matter how much I’d like to think I can throw my stuff into my old handbag, it just doesn’t work. Finally, I don’t have to trade style for function. I feel like I’m wearing the new “it bag,” but it just happens to work as a diaper bag.
It’s not perfect because nothing ever it, but it’s pretty darn close. I’d have to say that the downside is that my husband won’t be caught dead carrying it. If you can live with that, than it’s a small price to pay for fashion and function.
