Figure skaters Steven Cousins, 35, and Elena Berezhnaya, 30, welcomed their first child, son Trysten, on Saturday, October 6th in London, England. He weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces.

Steven and Kristina split a year and a half ago. She announced the split in August 2006. Time flies!

This is very happy news but it caught me completely by surprise. So I take it Elena and Anton are no longer together? I had been trying to keep up with them because I love them as a skating pair and it looked from You Tube posting that they had rekindled their romance. But I guess not. Are they still skating together though?

Elena will apparently continue skating with Anton but I believe it’ll be mostly in Russia, not a problem really since there’s YouTube and all, lol.
