Jason Michael Carroll will always come back to his kids

Country singer Jason Michael Carroll, 29, known for his song Alyssa Lies, is starting to become use to life on the road but he will never adjust to being away from his four children Gavin Michael, Savanna Nicole, Stori Page and J.W.

It gets kind of rough at times, especially like when my daughter flips through a Country Weekly magazine and she sees Daddy’s picture in there, and she’ll call me up and she’ll have a moment where it’s, ‘Daddy, I miss you.’

My day-to-day manager is here and she’ll admit I’ve called her up and said, ‘Look, I know I wasn’t supposed to go home for another two days, but the other day was just travel. Let me catch a flight out of the town we’re in.’ And I’ve done it just to try and get home and show them that I’ll do whatever it takes.

They know why Daddy’s out here, but at the same time I want them to see that I’m trying my best to get back to them as well.

Jason happens to be one of my favorite singers, in fact, I saw him in concert last night and something that has always resonated with me is how much he loves his kids. He speaks about them quite a bit and it’s obvious they are the most important thing in his life.

Jason is a fabulous singer, I love his current song (Livin’ Our Love Song). I had the opportunity to meet him a few months ago, nice guy!

I have known Jason personally for a few years and have had the honor of seeing him with all four of the children many times. It is awesome to watch how he is with not only his children but how he interacts with all children. My children love him to death and are constantly talking about how he has taken the time to get to know them on a personal level. He is an awesome performer but is a parent FIRST!!
