DoodleDoo Designs: Fun Fashions

10/14/2007 at 09:11 AM ET

Superhero34_2When I dress my child every morning, I love to put fun or cute tees on him. He loves it too. He’ll ask for certain shirts (like his Elmo Groupie shirt) and I’m astounded that at 2 years old, and being a boy, he can be so into what he wears. One of the shirts he also asks for a lot is his "Superhero in Training" shirt (on sale for $23.40) from DoodleDoo Designs.

The colors are bright and we liked the crisp font. The raglan sleeves are great for the cooler weather. Now if it only came with a cape and magical powers!!!

Doodledoo Designs makes adorable t-shirts.  Check out some of their other shirts. For the babies, I liked the "McCutie", "Queen of the Crib", and "My Dad plays Fantasy Football". For the gals, I thought the "Miss Understood" and "Miss Behaving" were hysterical. For the boys, I liked the “Superhero in Training” (which I already told you about), “I think I feel a tantrum coming on” and “What happens in playgroup, stays in playgroup.”

According to their website, “Doodle Doo Designs was started by graphic design artist Laurie Wurster and interior designer Lucinda Sussman. When Laurie described her daily adventures of being a mom to her newly wed cousin Lucinda, they decided to combine their skills and create children’s clothing that portrays the endearing struggles of parenting.”

For a limited time, Doodledoo Designs is giving 10% off, no coupon code required!! Also, free shipping if you spend over $50.

Mom Said It

"I had to make a decision that I could sleep with every night. I did feel responsible for the young girls who I probably confused and let down. I apologize for that. But I wasn't trying to glamorize teen pregnancy."
