Duke is so handsome. I especially love the children’s soccer tee. Diane seems like such a fun mom, going out for a bike ride barefoot, in her pajamas. How refreshingly normal.

Can anyone tell me if her children are adopted or did she have her son in her 50′s???? I know for me, I am 35 I have two young children and it is exhausting. Since I am not a movie star and I am not wealthy I do not have any help with my children. If she gave birth to Duke 6, she would have been about 55 years old when she had him. That is 20 years older than I am today. I cannot imagine what that would be like to be taking care of a new baby full time at 55yo.

Angela’s note: Yes, the children are adopted. Diane adopted Dexter in 1996 and Duke in 2001.

Diane Keaton gave an interview about a year ago to More magazine where she talked about being an older adoptive parent. I think this is one of the only photos I’ve seen of her children. She seems to be a very low key mom who keeps them out of the spotlight. what a handsome boy.

Yes, both of her children are adopted…she adopted Dexter (Daughter) when she was 50…kudo’s to her! She’s probably an awesome mom!
