10/14/2007 at 04:23 PM ET

Musician Carlos Santana, 60, was raised learning how to play music by his father and he is making sure that it continues as a tradition in his family. In regards to his children Salvador, Stella and Angelica by wife Deborah King, he states,

They’re all musical. In our house, learning to play the piano is required. Our son is 24 and has a band. The girls are 22 and 17, and they’re still thinking about how they’ll fulfill their musical interests.
