Are you kidding me??! We aren’t telling them how to name thier kid. We are just observing and excercising our right to our own opinion. I personnaly think that bear is a great name … for a baby. That name is absolutly rediculous for an every day American. It’s just really funny what kind of crazy names people come up with. Pretty soon we are going to be naming our kids chair and door.

Why don’t they just ask someone to bully their child now and save the hastly of him having to wait till he actually starts school. Then again if he goes to school with all the other celebs kids it’ll be like a normal name. God help him if he ever goes to get a normal job though. Could you ever just bear with me please

Naming a child is a personal thing. You choose the names for your children for your own reasons. I recall when Frank Zappa was asked why he picked such “odd” names for his children he said something like “consider the beauty of the name Ralph.” Which I think is hilarious.
Anthony Kiedis seems to me to be an unusual, funky, poetic sort of man. His child is bound to be part of a world full of artists, musicians and free spirits – to whom it wouldn’t matter if his name was Everly Bear or John David or Winston or Jamal or Abraham or whatever…. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.

I think the name sound great – I really like the name Everly and ive heard people give there children much much worse second name
and i doubt people make fun of him because of his name, his dads a rock star and his mums a supermodel

I have a 16 month old daughter named Everly so I happen to think the name is simply beautiful. She has 3 older brothers who are affectionately called The Everly Brothers.

I think Bear is beautiful and a great homage to his Native American roots – we went with the middle name of Fern, after my beloved grandmother.

Rhian, I like that name. It’s unique but not overboard. I still like Everly Bear…it’s unique and a strong name. I wish people wouldn’t act like it’s the worst name outthere. I have heard worse…from nonfamous people at that but again, their kid so they have earned the right to name them whatever they want to.
