I thought they got engaged after Lyric was born? I remember on their reality show, Ashley had a special onesie made.
Sarah’s note: I remember the proposal too! Everything I’m finding online says they’ve been engaged since either May ’04 or ’05 though. Maybe he just gave her the ring after Lyric was born? I hope there’s an Ashley fan out there who knows and can give us an answer.

Ashley did propose after Lyric was born, in fact he used Lyric in the proposal. Lyric was still a baby and he wore a onesie that said something like “will you marry my dad” and the ring may have been with/attached to Lyric somehow.
As to why they haven’t married yet… I have no idea. They should soon though, they are an adorable family!

Ashley & Tiffany got engaged in 2004. They redid it on the show after Lyric was born in 2005. She was seen at different events with him wearing the ring in ’04. Lyric wasn’t born until August 10 of 2005 so if they were going off of the proposal on air that happened after that date since Lyric was the proposal =) I believe they’ve been together since 2003 (dated for a year and a half before getting engaged).

He’s just cuter every time I see him! And he still looks like his mom just with lighter, curly hair, but he seems to have his dad’s smile. 
I sort of miss their show on MTV…just a tad…

That is just the sweetest little boy ever! When I saw the show I didn’t like the name Lyric…but seeing him in these pictures it just seems to fit him! I wonder why they haven’t gotten married yet…anyone know the story?
