Garner-Affleck family out in NYC on Friday

Actors Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, both 35, and their daughter Violet Anne, 22 months, were spotted out andabout in New York City this afternoon. At one point, Violet ducked intoa restaurant (the door behind them in the first photo), making her mom come running in after her.

The family isin town for Jennifer’s new Broadway show, Cyrano de Bergerac, whichopens on November 1st.

Is Violet potty trained yet??? I can’t tell if she is wearing a diaper or not. My son is about 2 months younger than her and soon we will be potty training him.

Wow, that’s one of the few times I have seen her walk. Aww, she’s such a cutie. Her little smile is beautiful. She always looks so happy. Such a nice family.

Good god could this family be any cuter? Elizabeth I was actually thinking the exact opposite–I was thinking how happy they look together…lol I love those geniune smiles–to me those are intimate smiles like they just said something funny to one another that only they would know…I just adore this family

Violent seems like a happy baby.. always a big grin on her face. As for one of the previous comments, I don’t think Ben & Jen have ever really been a PDA type couple. They look fine and dandy to me.

I’m wondering why there’s so many smiles but no hand-holding. I read that article with ben in it the other day and although he spoke of the previous jennifer, didn’t see anything about his wife. I was disappointed and now a little concerned

I agree with Peg.He’s learned a lot since his Bennifer days of excess exposure and PDA’s What I like about them is that they are real genuine and nothing is ever forced between.I think this is a couple that will actually last in Hollywood
