Relapse won't affect custody, attorney for David Hasselhoff says
A "brief relapse" which led David Hasselhoff to admit himself to a hospital for treatment on Tuesday should have no bearing on a June ruling which awarded the actor primary physical custody of his two teenaged daughters with estranged wife Pamela Bach. According to Melvin Goldsman, David’s attorney, the decision by Superior Court Judge Mark Juhas with regard to Taylor-Ann, 17, and Hayley, 15, "was the court’s final custody arrangement" and would not be affected by the setback to his client’s sobriety.
For the last five weeks, the girls have been staying with Pamela while David filmed Anaconda 3 overseas. In a brief statement Pamela expressed support for her soon-to-be ex-husband, whom was discharged from the hospital later Tuesday night, telling Extra that she wishes David the best and that she "just hope(s) he gets better."
