Originally posted September 15th:Actress Mira Sorvino, 39, and her daughter, Mattea Angel, 2 1/2, Barbie® led a ‘We Love Animals’ rally at New York City’s Central Park Zoo to celebrate the release of the new animal-themed, musical DVD ‘Barbie™ as The Island Princess‘ and help honor and protect animals. Dad is actor Christopher Backus, 26.

Sarah’s note: I’ve heard two different ways — Muh-tay-uh and Mah-tee-ah. Not sure which on Mira and Chris use.
