Spice Girl Melanie Brown, 32, was spotted in the back lot with her daughters Phoenix Chi, 8 1/2, and Angel Iris, 6 months, as she prepared for the Dancing With the Stars live show last evening.

I don’t think it’s right to be calling Eddie Murphy Angel’s “Dad”, he shouldn’t have that right. He’s the sperm donor, chromosome donor, dead beat, but not her Dad.

Phoenix’s wild hair reminds me of her mom Melanie’s hair from a decade ago (just check out the ol’ Wannabe video again), so she obviously takes after her mom some too.

Cute kids and it’s great to see Phoenix being a helpful big sister to baby Angel. (I wonder if she changes diapers yet too?)

Natasha- I agree that Eddie’s behavior is absolutly inexcusable. However, I still think it’s a little harsh to say that he is her dad. As upset as Melanie has appeared to be about the fact that Eddie refuses to even see Angel, I can’t help but notice that she still refers to him as Angel’s dad.

I am sorry, but I cannot stand the term “sperm donor” unless it is being used in the more common way: An annoynomus man who donated his sperm so that a woman and her husband could have a baby even though the husband was infertile. The fact of the matter is, no matter how horrible Eddie acted, he is still, and always will be, Angel’s dad (and I can bet that, when Melanie tells Angel about him, she will refer to him as her dad).
