Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman out making baby registry with niece

Singer Christina Aguilera, 26, her husband Jordan Bratman, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and niece were spotted at Bel Bambini in West Hollywood on Saturday, where they put together their baby registry.

According to Crysta Smith of Bel Bambini,

[Christina] looked beautiful. She had alittle bump. She said she was so excited [to have a baby]. [She and Jordan] registered for all the accessories. They were both picking out things together.

Christina was open with the staff, confirming that she is pregnant and revealing the sex of the baby — but she asked that the store keep the information private. With the help of their family, Christina and Jordan chose items including blankets, diaper bags,bottles and clothing for her upcoming baby shower.

On my radio station a few weeks ago they had the latest hollywood news and they said that Christina was having a girl and Nicole Richie was having a boy! Apparently Christina was spotted shopping in the baby girl section of a store. Granted it could of been clothes for that beautiful niece of hers but I have a feeling it is going to be a girl which looks like it will suit Christina.

I’m so happy for her! Not that it’s any of our business anyway, but I’m glad that she’s finally not hiding her baby bump anymore…I think she’d have a hard time hiding it at this point anyway =) I love that picture of Jordan holding her belly, despite the mean comments that people make about his looks, he seems like a really supportive guy and just perfect for Christina. I could totally see her with a little girl, but I think they’ll be awesome parents either way! Good luck Christina and Jordan and God bless =)

They are quickly becoming one of my favorite Hollywood couples. I love how they are always holding hands, or she’s on his arm, they are just so sweetly affectionate. Renee I don’t care either, it’s her first baby so she hasn’t had a son or daughter yet, so either is great IMO. I’m one of those people that don’t care sex of 1st babies, because either one is such a nice experience IMO. But I believe christina will have a girl, and Nicole a boy.

Pink doesn’t mean they are having a girl. When my youngest was an infant and I put him in slings, those were pink and flowery. It was because I liked them, not because I had a girl.

Why is everyone hoping she has girl or thinks she’s having a girl just because she was just looking at pink bugaboos? That doesn’t mean that she’s having a girl unless she confirmed it herself. She’s just looking around. I see random people looking at baby clothes all the time, but does that mean they’re having a baby. No for the most part. They’re just like to check it out. Plus, it was updated that she looked at both blue and pink, so it could mean that she doesn’t know the sex. I honestly don’t care if she has a boy or a girl. Her baby will be gorgeous regardless either way and she will raise a strong and independent son or daughter because she is a strong woman herself.

I’m not surprised christina knows the sex of the baby, I think most celebrities do and choose to keep it private, sorta like how they often don’t give their due date too. I remember Catherine Zeta Jones and Denise richards saying they didn’t know the sex of their babies, than after carys and lola were born, but ladies admitted they knew but didn’t wanna share it. Also I remember seal letting it slip at a concert in germany mentioning johan being a boy, than they said they didn’t know the sex. I think christina is having a gir,l and nicole richie is having a boy, and she also knows the sex IMO.

Ok, I’ll go out on a limb and say I think they are having a boy. My reason being that Xtina appears to be carrying quite low. If memory serves girls are carried higher up.

Cute pics! Christina certainly looks like she has the potentional to be a good mom*, especially by bringing her toddler niece along on her & her husband’s shopping trip for baby gear. I didn’t even know Christina had a toddler niece, but it’s cool to see she brought her along!

(*Yeah Christina did it right, a baby on her hip, one in her tummy, and not a drink in sight, dykwim? )

As far as what gender Jordan & Christina’s baby is, I have no idea. Maybe a girl, given that she brought her niece along, but then again who knows?

gianna- I am pretty sure that Nicole and Joel do NOT know the sex of their baby. I am aware that plenty of celebs have lied about not knowing the sex. HOWEVER, Nicole has stated multiple times that they are going to “try not to find out the gender before it’s born”. In otherwords, she is basically admitting that they may end up finding out before the birth, but that they are going to try hard not to.

If they DID know the sex, or were definently planning to find out but decided to keep it private, I think she’d have probably simply stated that they didn’t know, rather than that they are going to TRY not to find out.

Anyway, I think both Nicole and Christina will have girls. I see them both with girls….but can’t see either of them with boys no matter how hard I try! I especially hope that Christina has a girl, since, as a commenter on another Christina post mentioned, she’d more than likely be compared to Gwen Stefani…or worse, Britney Spears…..if she has a boy.

Anyway, I also think that 2008 will be “the year of the girls” since 2007 has been “the year of the boys” (and, in fact, it has been reported that girls DO seem to be born more in even years in boys in odd years)….and I have a feeling that Christina and Nicole’s babies will be the first baby girls in the “year of the girls”.

If you go on Bel Bambini’s website, you can check out her registry! It’s under Christina Bratman. She has registered for all kinds of pink stuff like strollers, washcloths, etc. That tells me that she’s having a girl. I’m so happy for her!
