Marcia Cross takes Eden and Savannah to a Santa Monica park on Thursday

Actress Marcia Cross, 45, takes her fraternal twin daughters, Eden and Savannah, 7 months, to a park in Santa Monica, CA, on Thursday. Marcia took pictures of the babies and walked around the park holding Eden (except in the last three photos). In the first shot, Eden is on the left, and Savannah on the right.

Could some one tell me if marcia used Donor eggs or not?
I could have sworn I read something a while back about her saying something about them, but I couldn’t read all of it because I was a little busy! Can some one please let me know?

Sarah’s note: This is what she said on it:

“I don’t like the average woman being misled into thinking that fertility is something that goes on forever. When a woman gets older, they get a donor egg, which doesn’t make the baby any less beautiful or perfect. One’s own eggs only last so long, and sometimes at 43 or 44 you can have your own baby, but statistically it’s very difficult and expensive. You don’t want to wait that long.”

So, no, she didn’t come out and say it, but many people assume from that statement that she did. She has been really open about her IVF though.

So what your saying is if she did use Donor eggs, then she would not be the childs biological mother? she would just carry the eggs that her husbands sperm fertilized? I dont mean to be much trouble, im just trying to clearly understnad the concept! Thanks for responding to my questions!:)

They look like Marcia to me, they have fair skin and red hair. Who knows though if she did use donor eggs. I don’t think she would go public with it until the girls are older. I’m sure this is the kind of thing where she would want to be the one telling her children and not have them hear it from someone else. But, I don’t know if she used donor eggs because to me the girls look like her.

I too think they look like Marica, they have the milky skin and bright red hair. Do donor eggs work the same way spear donor work? Where you can pick and choose depending on the donors characteristics?

What makes someone a biological mother? Carrying the babies is a biological process, giving birth is a biological process, breast feeding is a biological process… The eggs may not have been hers, but that’s mainly genetics. Just some terminology I’m curious about (I’m not trying to start anything, just curious as to other peoples opinions), as donor eggs become more common. Maybe not the genetic mother versus not the biological mother?

They look just like dolls, so cute! I think the shape of their face is very different that is how I can tell them apart. But CBB you made a mistake Marcia is carrying Savannah is the last 3 pictures, not the last 2. I didn’t notice it at first either not until I looked back closly at the photos.

They look like their dad, but to me I see marcia in their face too. Their so cute, and they look so much alike even though their not identical. She dresses them adorable, and seems like a sweet mom.

I was confused about something. I read once a while ago, that Marcia once tried to adopt (I think she was single at the time) domestically in the US but the baby was born early or something. Is this true? I have always wondered?
