Kyra Sedgwick's family is giving back

Actors Kevin Bacon, 49, and Kyra Sedgwick,  42, have raised their children Travis, 18, and Sosie, 15 to care about the world around them and it is paying off. This Christmas, the entire family will travel to New Orleans to lend the their time and talent to those less fortunate.  Kyra stated,

After living with a certain amount of wealth and being in the limelight, I think my kids are really interested in giving back. It was actually their encouragement that made us choose to do this.

This is so aweseome! Granted, the more money you have, the “more” you have to give…but you do not have to be rich to help those in need. Everyone can do this kind of stuff, maybe on a different level…but still! I personally think everyone gets way too wrapped up in the “material” parts of the holidays and was trying to think of something my family and I could do over the holidays to share our own blessings…there are just so many needy people out there

I just love Kyra Sedgwick. Love her show. She seems to have a great family. It’s nice to see a hollywood family maintain a stable life. I admire them.

I’d like to see a pic of Travis. Sosie (love the name) looks just like dad to me. From all I’ve read and seen of Kevin and Kyra, I admire this family. Wow, Kyra is HOT!
