Lyric Angel hits the terrible twos

Ashley_parker_angelSinger/actor Ashley Parker Angel, 26, recently talked about his son, Lyric, who has just recently entered the terrible twos after celebrating his birthday in August.

He’s out of control. He’s great, and he’s going to be a heartbreaker.

Mom is Ashley’s fiancee, Tiffany Lynn.

Did your child experience the terrible twos?  If so, how did you handle it?

My little one is 2 and a half. I thought I was going to breeze by it this year. I had a horrible few years with my older daughter. But I am not that lucky. I love her to death but boy what a monster I have created. It takes all my strength most days not to knaw my arm off:o) The clincher is after crying and throwing herself around for a few hours. Screaming out of control she will just stop….just stop….wipe her face, look at me and say “are you happy mommy?”
She can go in and out of it so fast where it takes me some down time to gain my composure. Oh two what a lovely age to be

What a cute little boy! I just saw Ashley Parker Angel in “Hairspray” on Broadway this past weekend! He did a great job as LInk!

Lyric looks like a PERFECT combination of the two of them. What a doll.

I had great twos and terrible threes. Like every stage it passes and each child is so different. Be firm, fair and try not to laugh.

Ha, the twos were tough but nothing compared to the terrible threes. Thank goodness we’re almost past them now, into the fabulous fours which should go along nicely with the baby’s wonderful ones. Then I’ll get to start the tough twos all over again. Really dreading another round of terrible threes with the baby.

My daughter literally started going through the terrible two’s the day after she turned 1. I kid you not! She turned into a holy living terror the day after her first birthday. By the time she turned 2 she was holy living terror times 2! She’s now three and I want to cry on a daily basis! Seriously…She HAS got to get better by 4. She started a year early so, it’s only fair she ends the terrible whatever’s by 4. lol I love her to death and wouldn’t trade her for the world. She has one of the funniest and greatest personalities and we can have some really really good days but those bad days sure can take a toll on you. Don’t really have any advise on how I handle it. I just try to make it through each day without pulling all my hair out. All I can say is..my next child had better be mellow! HAHA

My daughter is 2½ and can shred eardrums with her screams. And what is worse than the screaming is the pockets of ‘silence’ as she takes in an
unnaturally deep breath to push another ear-splitter out.
