Steven Spielberg out with daughters

Director and producer Steven Spielberg, 60, was spotted out with daughters Destry Allyn, 10, and Mikaela George, 11, at a Brentwood market on Sunday.

Are they his natural kids or adopted? Just curious- it seems a lot more stars have adopted kids than I ever realized and as an adoptive parent, that’s wonderful!

Sarah’s note: I believe Destry is his biological daughter, and Mikaela was adopted as an infant. Someone correct me if I’m wrong though.

1 Jessica Capshaw (1976) — step-daughter from Kate Capshaw’s previous marriage to Robert Capshaw

2 Max Samuel Spielberg (22, b. June 13, 1985) — son from Spielberg’s previous marriage to Amy Irving

3 Theo (18-19, b. 1988) — adopted by Kate Capshaw before their marriage; later adopted by Spielberg

4 Sasha (17, b. May 14, 1990) – with Kate Capshaw

5 Sawyer (15, b. March 10, 1992) – with Kate Capshaw

6 Mikaela George (11, b. February 28, 1996) – adopted with Kate Capshaw

7 Destry Allyn (10, b. December 1, 1996) – with Kate Capshaw

I like George as a middle name for a girl. It’s cute. I’m not overly fond of Georgia for a name, though, so I may be biased.

Can I assume Sawyer is a son and Sasha a daughter?
