She looks beautiful and her son is adorable. Everyone is wearing long sleeves and coats, I wish she dressed her baby just a bit warmer. Oh well- I am sure she is a great mother though, she is always wearing him and smiling.

Sarah’s note: Oftentimes when I wear my baby I nanny for in the sling, I put her in one less layer because she’s right up against my body, and between that and being in the sling she tends to stay warm. Not saying that’s necessarily what Keri is doing, but just sharing my experience.

What a lovely photo of the 2 of them. I always tended to dress my baby in less clothing as well if he was going to be in the sling. He just got too warm otherwise.

Am I the only one who misses her curly hair? (not that she doesn’t look absolutely gorgeous with straight hair too). I guess lots of us want the opposite of what we were given (yes, I have straight hair).

That is one cute baby and she looks like a great mom. Normally I think people tend to overdress their babies, but I have to agree with Lauren this time that River’s not wearing too much for a newborn—and I only say this because I live in NYC and it’s been pretty chilly lately, esp in the mornings. Maybe he likes to be cooler?

PSB, yes, we all crave what we don’t have. I would swap you my curly hair in a heartbeat!

I wonder if the texture of her hair changed while she was pregnant? Mine did. Right after my first it was even curlier, but calmed down before my second came along. After the second, the nape area went straight. After the third it was all curly again. After the fourth pregnancy, it is now all kinds of wacky.

Maybe I just need to get a different hair stylist!
