Brian McFadden and Delta Goodrem postpone parenthood

Irish singer Brian McFadden, 27, recently affirmed that he and long-time girlfriend Delta Goodrem, an Australian singer, have no plans to have children any time soon. Brian acknowledged they would like to concentrate on their respective careers and focus attention on his two children, Molly Marie, 6, and Lilly-Sue, 4.

I think two are plenty for now. With our careers it wouldn’t be wise to have kids at this point, we need to keep working. Possibly further down the line, but we’re not thinking about it.

Delta admitted the responsibility of being a stepmother to Brian’s children was initially difficult, but she now adores them.

Brian’s ex-wife, former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona, is the mother of the girls.

I think Brian and Delta are doing the right thing by waiting.

Molly and Lilly needs all the love now they can get.

And Brian and Delta are both still young. I know Delta would make a great mom. I really love them together. Brian looks much happier now then he was with Kerry
