Anne Heche had a “good day in court”

Following a court hearing over her child custody case, Anne Heche, 38, announced she had a “good day in court” Wednesday afternoon. Anne, the star of CBS’s Men In Trees, has been embroiled in a bitter custody dispute with her estranged husband, cameraman Coley Laffoon. Anne asked for primary custody of the couple’s 5 year old son, Homer, while Coley, 32, emphasized Anne’s poor parenting skills.

While neither side disclosed specific details of Wednesday’s closed hearing, Coley’s attorney, Jon S. Summers, announced his client left the meeting "very satisfied with what happened in court."

Anne and Coley separated in February after almost six years of marriage. Coley seeks joint custody of their son and $30,000 per month for spousal support.
