Chloe Lattanzi addresses eating disorder rumors

Chloe Lattanzi, Olivia Newton John’s twenty-one year old daughter, spoke out against reports in The Sydney Telegraph claiming she looked “emaciated” at a post-Emmys party. Chloe, an aspiring singer, posted a Myspace bulletin this week saying she is “absolutely fine.”

Hey there everyone. I noticed more hits on my page than usual. I know I’ve addressed it before but for some reason the Australian press keeps bringing up my eating disorder. I guess they have nothing else to talk about because my music isn’t out yet. But seriously, don’t believe it. It’s annoying and funny at the same time.

I’m absolutely fine and I’ll show that to everyone when the record comes out so please don’t buy into it in the meantime. I have a responsibility to you and to myself to be healthy so I can work. The reason I came out about it was so I could help others and I wouldn’t take it back for anything. I’m just naturally a little girl like my mom and for that, they won’t leave me alone.

All that matters is I know I’m good. Sometimes it makes me laugh but sometimes it wears a little on my spirit when they say these hurtful things but I’m driven by it and things are moving. Every day I’m closer to releasing my music! I actually had a great time at the after party hehe. I met some nice people, danced, and Duran Duran played live — they were amazing. It was really a lot of fun, good night out. Much love to you all!! xoxoxo chloe

Chloe went public with her battle with anorexia earlier this year, saying she was working to beat the disorder.
