Princess Beatrice of York, 19, and her mother Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, 47, attended the memorial service of style icon Isabella Blow in the Guards Chapel in London. Beatrice’s sister Princess Eugenie, 17, was not present. Isabella Blow died in May at the age of 48. She was known for her love for extravagant hats and all the guests were wearing them in her honour.

The distressing aspect of this is that Ms Blow commited suicide by drinking insecticide. A full article is in Vanity Fair. Apparently she had become distressed because her rich and famous friends in fashion and beyond had abandoned her…I wonder whether any of those people attended the memorial service…
She was an eccentric, wonderful fabulous person.
