The Mommy Hook: Hang your bags on your stroller

Unless you have an umbrella stroller, even if you can hang your diaper bag on your stroller, the occasional grocery/shopping bag, purse, bookbag, etc. has nowhere to go. Plastic stroller hooks are clever but do you know how many sets of them I’ve gone through since plastic has a tendency to break? Since discovering the Mommy Hook, I will never have to buy another replacement. The concept behind the Mommy Hook is simple- a big ass carabiner clip with foam covering.

Hook it on your stroller handle and open the levered clip and slide you bags onto the metal hook. That’s it! Because it’s made of thick heavy-duty aluminum, it won’t break (but it’s not heavy). Because it has foam padding, it won’t slide around your stroller handle. Because it has a levered clip that is easy to open, Anya likes playing with it. One thing I really like about it is that you can take it off the stroller and carry all of your bags on it- great for bring groceries into the house. I am really looking forward to figuring out where else to use it.

Why hasn’t anyone thought of this before?

Since they are only five bucks each, I’m going to get one for each stroller.
