Well my daughter is not in real school yet…but I spend an average of $100-$150 a month on her clothes. She’s just over 2 years old and has almost as many clothes as I do, although she goes through them much faster. My philosophy, “If she looks good…I look good!!”

This is adorable! Hoping to win!

For back to school clothes, it varies. We spend a few hundred dollars per chid in the beginning. We don’t do a big shopping right befre school starts though. With all of the growing they’ve done since last year, they usually do need a good bit, but more warm clothes for the upcoming cold weather than the still summery things they need during the still hot back to school first few weeks. So, after a month or two, we do a bigger shopping, and add pieces as we need them. It sure adds up in the end!

Sadly, I usually rely on the grandparents to help with the children’s clothes. So, we probably only spend about $100 for two children. This outfit is so cute and would look adorable on my daughter!

We typically spend about $300 on back to school clothes for my school aged daughter(5). I shop LOTS of sales and end up with quite a bit for the money. That outfit is adorable, I need to check out their site! I am pregnant with what I suspect to be our third daughter.

I’ll be honest – all we usually spend is on ‘fill ins’ like maybe a coat or some heavy tights. So many people have given us clothes for our daughter that we rarely have an excuse to buy anything new, much less a whole new seasonal wardrobe. I’ll guess we’ll be spending abut $75 this year, because she needs a winter coat. but OH is this a cutie set!

I dont really shop just for going to school i think i shop all the time. it seems my kids grow alot. in fact i am glad i didnt spned a ton on back to school clothes because just today my son put on his pants and i thougt they looked a little small!! i probably spend 50-100 per month total for both kids but i get some stuff from my sis for my daughter so not as much to buy for her!

My daughter is a tiny sized ‘tween and was adopted from Russia when she was five – 6 years ago. She is tough to shop for because she is an athlete who abhors the girly, girl stuff. I try to keep the spending down but it really adds up fast. When you add up jackets, sweaters, sporty clothes and some nicer stuff it is probably about $200-that is when I manage to get stuff on sale!!!

My daughter is almost 2, yet it seems like I start off every season by spending around $150…and then buy more clothes throughout the season, maybe totaling another $100. I try to be pretty frugal, but I love shopping for her more than for myself! It’s so much easier to buy toddler clothes – find the right size, and it almost always fits! No worries about looking fat, etc. – makes dress-up inevitable!!!

My daughter is only 8 months old, but I’ve had alot of fun building her wardrobe! I’ve spent around $200-$300 per size (0-3, 3-6, 6-9). When I find something I love, I buy it in her current size, and in a grow-into size. I have some great pieces all the way up to 24M. Items I can’t pass by are soft cottons that are gentle on the skin and are classically designed.

I’ve been spending around $300-$500 on a new fall wardrobe for my daughter. Sounds excessive, but when you do a good chuck of it as places like Old Navy, you get A LOT for your money. I then fill in the rest with some better pieces (like Splendid – so confy!) to round out her wardrobe.

Next question you should ask is how much us moms spend on our own fall wardrobes… Me? NOTHING!! I’d rather spend it on my daughter

I have 3 kids, one toddler and two boys in elementary school. My boys still let me dress them in whatever I want, so I get to have fun shopping. I usually spend about $250 on each boy for school clothes. Then my daughter! Well, after 2 boys it is so FUN to shop for a GIRL..YIPPIE! So, I have gone a bit overboard and probably have spent $500 on her for the upcoming long winter here.

Love this brand!! I highly recommend it, we bought a bunch of Splendid Littles
this summer and it wears and washes awesome and looks fabulous on our girls & the clothing for us Mom’s is divine.

Our Children go to private school so the uniforms, shoes and supplies typically run about 200-300.00 per child. We currently have 3 in school and our baby girl is 19 months. Our fall clothing is well over a 1000.00 for all four of our Children. The girls typically have more boutique, Oilily, Room Seven, IKKS and such and the boys mostly wear Quiksilver and Hurley. My philosophy is Children need to learn to be stylish when they are young so they are stylish adults. I want them all to look fabulous since they are a reflection of me.

We spend about $200 for the fall/winter season each year for our older one. We try to shop at Target to get more bang for our buck. She’s just started caring a lot about what she wears so we’ve been hitting gap kids and old navy too. The younger is just a baby so we’re still swimming in hand-me-downs!

I have two children and it’s pretty typical of me to spend about $1000 on each of them per season. I’m talking about shoes, light jackets, winter coats, gloves, hats, sweaters and the rest. It adds up really quickly. I always end up spending more on their wardrobe than my own and my husband’s.
