Update: Nancy Grace clears up due date drama; having one of each

Update: Nancy has announced that earlier this week, she found out she’s having a boy AND a girl.

Originally posted August 30th: When CNN anchorwoman Nancy Grace announced her pregnancy in late June, many CBB readers were left scratching their heads in regards to the dueling due dates announced — Us Weekly said she was four months along, the NY Post said she was due in January.

On her show this evening, Nancy — while accepting congratulations from a caller on the impending birth of her twins — said,

Thanks — they’re due in two months.

This gives Nancy, 48, an early November due date (we hear around the 8th). Mystery solved!  However, don’t be surprised if they come a little earlier — multiples occasionally do as they stretch the womb more than a singleton and sometimes cause the cervix to loosen up a bit sooner.

I am one who absolutely cannot wait for Nancy’s twins…I love her and if you know her background, you know all she’s been through to get to this point–and those babies will be loved beyond belief!

I knew something was wrong with that January due date. No way in hades that woman is due the same time Nicole Richie and Christina Aguilera are, even if she was carrying quads she wouldn’t be that size so quickly. In any case good luck to her! I’m sure she’s excited beyond measure to meet her little blessings. Let’s hope they mellow mommy out!

While the impending birth of any child/children is a wonderful time, I can’t stand her or her show.

Wish her happiness in mommy-hood and hopefully she’ll opt for a long maternity break and someone else will replace her show.

I knew she had to be closer to 7 or months just looking at her. She has been so emotional on the show lately. It has to be hard sometimes. I was wreck during my pregnancies, didn’t want family to see me cry much less the world.

I wish both her and her husband the best on their new adventure. Parenthood is one wild ride to say the least.

I really admire her, and have watched her for several years. I wondered if something was up the past few days, when callers ask how she is, she’s **sigh** “hanging in there”. I certainly know the context of that answer, LOL!! Both my children were under 7lbs, but I carried HUGE, retained oceans of water and just ached in the last 5 or so months. Of course, they were so worth every second of discomfort!

Wow. A little surprised to hear that Nancy is due a little earlier than expected. Wish the best for Nancy and her husband on the upcoming birth of her babies!! Can’t wait hear if it’s boys, girls or a boy and a girl. (I think it’s a boy and a girl). By the way, does anyone know if they are identical or fraternal twins?

Nancy, I believe that is a spoof registry, it lisits the due date as Jan 1st., and there are alot of inconsistancies such as asking for 50 boxes of diapers of one certain size even twins wouldn’t go through that many newborn size diapers! And asking for 4 swings, 4 jumperoos list goes on. I know some are marked as bought and either people are dupped into believing that is her real regisitry (also says she lives in NY when they live in ATLANTA) or the fake person who created it is editing the items as bought, I saw this in the past with several celebs.

I am overjoyed at the news of Nancy Graces’ marriage and upcoming twins! I have such respect and admiration for her. She was a young school teacher, engaged to be married, when her fiance was mugged and killed at an ATM. I think the perpetrator got around $30 off her fiance and killed this man for it when he would have gladly handed it over to preserve his life! He never got that chance and was killed in cold blood. Nancy was beyond devastated, for this was just weeks before their wedding. After overcoming the loss and watching the murderer get a pitiful sentence for the crime, she set out on a journey that would change her life. She enrolled in law school and became a prosecutor…she NEVER lost a case! She is an empassioned person and made an incredible life and contribution to society as the result of her terrible loss. She has waited A LONG TIME for this type of happiness and I wish her health, happiness and a lifetime of blessings for her, her husband and her little boy and girl!

It appears that my asumptions are right about the babiesrus.com registry. I don’t know too many sets of twins that need 50 boxes of 96 count newborn diapers. They grow out of that size so quickly even if they are somewhat premature. 4 exersaucers,4 pottys, 4 baby bjorn carriers & covers, 4 jumperoos, 4 swings, 4 jumperoos, 4 walkers, last time I checked she was having twins not quads. Another thing is that the registry is mostly filled with little things, alot of clothes that are the wrong size for the season they are going to be born in, alot of odds and ends from different nursery themes. Happens alot with celebrities.

Ugh. Nancy Grace. As a law student I beg you all to research her prosecutorial history. Not to mention the numerous unsubstantiated accusations she has publicized on her show. It is not clear to me why she was never disbarred, but she has certainly been cited by the courts for gross misconduct an unbelievable number of times. Her Wiki gives a very brief overview of some of it for those that don’t want to delve into legalese. She’s deplorable, and I mourn for those babies.
