Countess Sophie of Wessex showing off baby bump

Princess Sophie, Countess of Wessex, 42, was photographed attending the opening of St. John Ambulance’s new headquarters in Leatherhead, Surrey. She and her husband, Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex, 43, are expecting their second child in December. This is the first time that we have seen an obvious bump on The Countess.

The Countess’ spokesman said,

She is not putting up her feet. She is going to carry on officialengagements as long as she can. She is feeling absolutely great and iscompletely over the moon about the baby. She loves children and has made no secret of the fact that she wanted more I don’t know about morning sickness, she looks absolutely fantastic and is smiling from ear to ear.

The couple is also parents to daughter, Lady Louise Windsor, 3 1/2.

I sincerely hope she has a much easier time of it with this baby than with the last one. Maybe she should be putting her feet up a little; Louise was early, and quite a traumatic birth as well.

Her baby bump seems to be more obvious than two weeks ago at the Netherlands’s birthday party! Maybe she’s having twins? I wish her a good pregnancy and healthy baby(ies?), especially after all she has already been through.

Ah she looks great! For the record she isn’t actually Princess Sophie, although she does hold the title of Princess Edward and more commonly Sophie,Countess of Wessex. I’m guessing it’s a boy. Good luck to them both and Lady Louise!
