Camille Prats expecting a son with boyfriend

Filipina actress Camille Prats, 22, announced last Sunday that she and her boyfriend, Anthony Linsagan, are expecting their first child. Camille is currently five months along in her pregnancy.

The couple, who have found out that they are having a son, plan to name him Nathan.

Even though the pregnancy was not planned, Camille is looking forward to becoming a mother.

A baby is a blessing and I don’t regret anything. I feel that I owe the truth to the public because theyhave supported me all these years, since I was a kid.

Camille, a celebrity baby herself, is the daughter of Daniel Rafael Prats.  The former child actress admits that she was scared to tell her family of the pregnancy.

I was hurting when I told them. I didn’t want totrouble them about my condition that’s why I felt guilty. But I didn’thear anything bad from them. They never said this was a mistake. Theynever blamed me for what happened to me.

Im sad she views her prgenancy this way, but it guess i can understand with her family have such strong religious backrounds. Its a new world though, babies come from all kinds of families!

Being Filipino myself, I know we can be some of the most conservative/traditional people you will ever meet. I am a bit more liberal than some, and it made me sad that the media would make her view her pregnancy like that. Since she is unmarried, she was torn apart for being pregnant. I’m a fan of hers, and I honestly wish her the best!

I agree with Katherine, the Philippines is such a conservative country, that’s maybe why she felt guilt..
I was a big fan of hers and her brothers growing up. I even joke with my mom that she named me after her [We both have the names Camille Patricia, her's is Patricia Camille though]

I know how she feels, being young and unmarried it’s normal to feel guilty to your family, with their expectations and trust being betrayed. What’s important is that she welcomes this new phase in her life and I wish her the best!

Heck, I’m American and almost 30 and I would be nervous in the same situation. And my mom was 6 months pregnant when she got married as well! I’m glad that her family had a positive reaction.
