Tom Glavine's kids want him to return to MLB for another year

Tom Glavine of the New York Mets would like to return to Major League Baseball for one more year but his family would love it.

Surprisingly, my kids are more on the side of me playing next year than not. I think that is in large part because they understand what I am doing. They enjoy coming to the ballpark and being around the guys. They like the game of baseball. I think they are really starting to figure out that, ‘Dad’s a Major League Baseball player and it’s pretty fun going to the games.’

Tom and his wife, Christine, have two sons together, Peyton Thomas, 8, and Mason Riley, 6.  Tom also has a daughter, Amber Nicole, 12, from his first marriage and Christine has a son, Jonathan, also 12, from a previous relationship.

i love Tom Glavine! he’s been my favorite since i was a kid. i wish he was still a braves though. his daughter has the same first and middle name as me and that makes me happy. but thats not why he’s my fave, he was already my fave before i found that out. :]
