Sugar and Spice Hair Bows: Clips that really grip!

09/11/2007 at 04:06 AM ET

100_0212Looking for cute hair clips for your little girl?  The Grippy Clippy from Sugar and Spice may fit your bill! The company, owned by Janet Beatty, mother of 2 daughters, describes her clips as, "Our hair clips are made using a 1 and 3/8" alligator clip and then partially covered in high quality 3/8" ribbon.  To make the clips really grip, we line the clip with a soft gripper strip."

We checked out the Butterfly Jewel and the Three Flower. Very cute! I also liked the Ms. Mouse,  the Pink and brown flower clips. They usually sell two at a time (for $5.50), unless indicated. They also have the Birthday line, the Holiday/Special Occasion Line (loved the Christmas Tree), and the Baptism/Flower Girl Line,

The company also offers flower jewel clog shoe charms, stretchy baby headbands – you can add a grippy clippy bow onto these, silk flower headbands, diaper cakes and too many other products to list.

They’ll even put your little girl’s picture up on their website wearing their products. How fun is that?

Mom Said It

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
