Full House actress Jodie Sweetin, 25, and her husband Cody Herpin, 30, are expecting their first child. The couple announced the pregnancy by providing a sonogram photo to TMZ. The ultrasound was done on August 31st — maybe a late March/early April due date if she had the sonogram done between 8-10 weeks?
Jodie and Cody married in Las Vegas on July 14th.

Congrats to them! Wow, Jodi is the complete opposite of Christina, huh? Christina won’t even confirm her pregnancy and Jodi goes to far as to show her sonogram picture! On another note, I remember Jodi being a crystal meth addict…she is clean now right?

Congrats to Jodie! I loved her on Full House. I think she used to be addicted to crystal meth a few yrs ago. Maybe her antics will take the focus off Britney for awhile. I know I have seen plenty of pics of Jodie and her husband partying! Anyway, congrats!!

She was addicted to meth and has been known to be a party girl. Hope she cleans up her act for a child. This is her 2nd marriage.

I’m hoping that inset photo is reaaally old and that she is not smoking while pregnant. I had to enlarge the photo, but she’s holding a cigarette. And I’m hoping she’s still clean, as she claimed in her interview last year. Maybe the baby will help her “grow up” so to speak.

Congrats to Jodi! I am so happy for her. I loved her on Full House. As for the whole meth situation, didn’t she go to rehab for that already? I think she said that she had stoped using that a long time ago.
She doesn’t seem like the type to do drugs while she’s pregnant. I wish her and her husband the best.
Lets not be so critical of her because of her past.

Congrats to Jodie! I wish her the best, especially since only 12% of recovering meth addicts actually stay clean for the rest of their lives. I’m sure everything will work out for the best though. Their baby is going to be beautiful.

If the sonogram is recent, then I’d say she’s around 8 or 9 weeks.

Everyone has a past, she isnt on drugs now, and she has gone thru rehab and spoken out against the dangers of methanphetamines. I wish her the best and hope we get to see some pics of her growing belly

I hope Jodie and her baby can be safe, especially given her past addictions. Oh in some ways I think Jodie’s life is sort of patterning after Britney’s. Jodie’s only a month younger than Britney, she’s already on her second husband (her first was a cop who divorced her after discovering her addictions), and she likes to party.
But what’s really the clincher is that I even remember back when she was on “Full House”, she had song and dance dreams (much like a young Britney) as ‘Stephanie’ and I think there is one instance I saw in a Spears bioraphy where ironically Bitney’s dance teacher created a recital piece based heavily upon the costumes & routine ‘Stephanie’ had in an episode of “Full House.” Plus of course there’s the episode of the Mickey Mouse Club where Jodie appeared wih Britney, and Jodie was the more well known celeb. lol.
Whatever her future, I’ll wish Jodie the best, although I’d imagine she has people thinking of and praying for her. (Mainly ex-co-star Candace and probably her brother Kirk as well. Oh if she wants to Candace has many to remember, Jodie for her pregnacy & other issues, Mary Kate for her role as a pot-smoking Christian teen on “Weeds,” etc.)

Congrats to her! She was my favorite Tanner on Full House. She has a past, but it seems she cleaned up and is doing better. Until I see her screwing up I’m working on the assumption that she’ll be a great mom!

Its pretty typical but still disheartening to hear all of the assumptions & to see wrong stats like the 12% one by ItsMe…..Big boo to that one, that is a myth that the media has loved to report. Get educated people! As a former meth user that has been clean for 10 yrs, got married and achieved my Bachelors degree, I am offended.

Autumn, I don’t think Mary Kate’s character is a pot smoker, I think she’s supposed to be a very Christian girl whom the son meets while doing community service at a retirement home. Either way, it’s just a tv role, why would she need to be prayed for? It’s not like Mary Kate is a drug addict in real life. Maybe her role is there to illustrate how bad drugs are and set the son on the right path. The episode with her hasn’t even aired yet!

I’m wondering since you say that ItsMe is totally off on her statistics, if you actually know the real statistics or if there are even documented statistics on that subject? I honestly don’t know that much about crystal meth so I am curious about it.

I just went on TMZ and looked at the photo. There is a little more of the photo than the one you provided. The sonogram was done on 8/31. So, I’d say she’s about 10 weeks now, maybe. Shocking to see a star admit it SO early! Hell, looks like Christina isn’t going admit it until the baby is crowning!

OMG!!! I’m so shocked, but am happy for them. I didn’t even know that Jodie even remarried! I remember when she was so little in “Full House”, and now she’s already grown up and is going to be a mother sometime next year. Congrats to the couple!!!!

Congrats, Kel, on staying clean. I had no idea people would report wrong facts on such a serious topic. (I actually looked meth abuse up on line to learn more about it…to “get educated”, but I guess some of these drug fact sites are wrong..)According to
http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/drugs/crystalmeth.html the relapse rate is 92%.
I’m curious as to whether this is actually true or not?? I hope everyone who has or is abusing this drug can turn it around like you were able to.

In response to Morgan and PSB, lol yeah Morgan got it right although the only clip of MK on “Weeds” was the leaked one which was shown on The Insider or ET. The only reason why I’d thought Candace would probably want to pray for her is because of assumed pressure by her rather conservative brother Kirk, who probably isn’t pleased with MK’s current role because it “gives a bad name/image to Christian teens” (oh brother) and “hopefully she didn’t take it because she’s had experience.” (I don’t know if he’d say such, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Kirk’s a bit like my uncle Ross, who’s very strict about such issues. Personally I doubt MK has done drugs, or at least I hope isn’t a user now.) Candace is no doubt pleased that MK found an acting job, but I don’t know what her opinion on the subject matter is (mainly because of the whole pot-smoking angle).
As far as Jodie, she needs a lot of forgiveness for her past, but I do think she’ll be a good mother as long as she doesn’t do some of the stupid things Britney Spears has been accused of/found guilty of in the past year or two. Jodie does have a college degree and at one point said that she wanted to be a set teacher, so she probably has quite a bit of potential…as long as she doesn’t go back to her addictions.

I wish Jodie well. I was a Full House fanatic when I was little. More a MK and Ashley fan. And speaking of MK olsen yes she is a christian pot smoking teen in weeds(which happens to be my fav. show).
Candace and Kirk our devoted Christians but I am sure they also understand the difference between reality and playing a role on t.v. I am sure they had more concern over MK’s eating disorder then her choice to play a pot smoking teen!
Anyways, hopefully Jodie is clean and doing well.

Congrats to Jodie!! I loved seeing her on Full House and I didn’t even know that Jodie even remarried but did know that she split from first husband. Probably b/c of her crystal meth at the time. That for sure had to be a tough time for her. I hope this baby will bring her lots of joy.

Oh Julie, there will always be people who are stupid enough to do just about anything! LOL! According to sciencedaily.com, 5% of pregnant women use it every week. I don’t know how accurate that statistic is…seems awful high, but who knows.

I worked in a labor and delivery dept for several years and babies are born everyday addicted to meth.The problem is rampant and huge so yes, pregnant mom’s can do meth too. I think that you all should refrain from giving opinions of other Full House stars about this issue. I am sure it is very hard for them to see people they love going down the wrong paths and hard enough without other people glorying in the problem.
I hope and pray that Jodie stays clean and changes her life for the better. Maybe she is on the right track now.
