Boston Red Sox relief pitcher Manny Delcarmen, 25, and his wife, Anna, welcomed their first child on Sunday, September 9. Manual Delcarmen III weighed 7 lbs, 3 oz. The couple’s son was due September 24.
In a previous interview, Manny stated,
Growing up I saw my dad playing baseball, taking me from park to parkwith him. I’mnot going to push him into baseball, but hopefully it’s something hehas interest in and just kind of follows in my footsteps. It’d just beexciting if the baseball tradition just keeps going.
