Kacey Ainsworth expecting second child

British star Kacey Ainsworth, 36, and her partner, Darren Hales, are expecting their second child. The HolbyBlue actress will leave the show at the end of the year for maternity leave.

The writers are still penning the scripts but they’ve taken her pregnancy into account and will temporarily write her out toward the end of the run, She’ll only be missing from the last two or three episodes but she’s not being written out of the series forever – she’ll be back.

The couple have a three-year-old daughter, Blossom.
