4 Little Fish: Fun Tees for Your Little Fish
4 Little Fish is a new cute little t-shirt company out of Canada. Owner/Designer Olga St. Clair creates these darling shirts with fabric and appliques. The company is out of Boston, MA.
St. Clair told me via email, "I am a mom of 4 … hence the 4 little fish. With regards to the shirts, they are unique and custom made, and each piece is different, hence a keepsake of sorts. The fabrics are all hand selected, and variations do occur – and there is room for customization within a given range, giving customers a chance to create their own!"
Unique and just so adorable, you’re going to want one or two for your little one! We checked out the Cake long sleeve tee in Chocolate Brown. The three tiers of cranberry velvet, with three different fabrics with patterns on top (containing pink with white and cranberry ovals on the top tier, lighter pink with blue and white dots and a medium pink with green leaves). Underneath the cake is a pink with brown polka dot ribbon (I guess as the platter or plate). Absolutely precious.
We also saw the the Rocket long sleeve tee in Chocolate Brown. Decorated with red fabric patterned with white and black ovals, with a lettuce green triangle on the top of the rocket, two red windows below it, and a black and white striped rectangle under that, and finally, a blue corduroy fabric on the bottom of the rocket (both with zig zag bottoms), this shirt was really precious. There are two star buttons sewed on above the rocket ship, a white star button and a red star button
St. Clair likes to do themes. Last fall, when her company started, she did a vehicles theme for the boys. Desserts was the theme for the girls. The babies’ theme was jungle. This March, St. Clair’s theme was seascapes. With colorful crabs, sharks, turtles, and even Mermaids, this line is also precious. She also has shirts with palm trees, sailboats, sharks, mermaids and the lighthouses. This fall’s theme will be a Farm Theme, and there will be a limited edition school bus shirt (which my toddler, the school bus nut, would love!). Also, for the boys will be windmills and tractors. The girls will also have windmills and school buses (but much girlier!), and farm buildings. Babies will sport milking cows and nutty acorns. The textured designs keep getting cuter and cuter!
