Nicole Richie takes little sister out for lunch

Reality star Nicole Richie, 25, and rocker Joel Madden, 28, took Nicole’s little sister Sofia out for lunch at an Indian restaurant on Tuesday.

Are we sure Nicole is adopted.
That is her half sister from Lionel’s second marriage right?

Nicole IS AN ONLY CHILD!
But she has 2 half siblings from Lionel’s second marriage. Thats her half sister Sofia

wouldn’t a 1/2 sibling imply that they have one parent in common? Nicole is adopted, and that little girl is Lionels daughter so that would make them sisters…or technically adopted sisters.

well, she is Brenda Richie’s only child.

And they are half sisters.
Even though Sofia is half black and Nicole is quarter black, they do look similar. But that happens a lot in adopted families, everybody starts to look alike after a while…

Sofia is beautiful, and yes looks a lot like nicole did as a child. I’ve seen a lot of pics of nicole with sofia, they seem close. Nicole looks adorable too.

Nicole’s what, 25? And Sofia looks only about 10 or so, so even if Nicole was adopted, she was Lionel’s only child for maybe almost the first 13-15 yrs of her life…so it’s no wonder that she still acts like an “only child” for publicity sake. I’m glad though that she does get along with her younger siblings enough to go out with them sometimes. (Or maybe she thinks her little sister’s finally old enough to hang out with w/o acting like a little kid while out shopping. If that’s the case, Nicole will have a lot to learn about being a mother. lol! Otherwise maybe she’d just wanted to shield her sister from the paparazzi, until now.)

Either way, I can tell Sophia is Lionel’s daughter because she actually sort of looks like him a little. lol. Although I agree, her complextion is more similar to Nicole.
