Actress Naomi Watts, 38, back in NYC after Alexander Pete‘s LA birth — so that’s where they were off to — made a visit to a SoHo hair salon earlier this afternoon with her 6-week-old son, his nanny, and her mom.

I have a new found respect for her! She isn’t pushing him around in an overly expensive stroller/carseat!! I love seeing celebs buying/using stuff I would actually buy/use.
I mean some of those strollers could actually be close to a down payment on a car!!

LOL Sarah! That cracked me up!!! What I respect is that you know these parents are struck w/ a serious case of newborn exhaustion and yet they still get out and go w/ that baby. Naomi seems to almost always manage a smile. She appears to me to be a really happy person. Lovin it.

She’s still wearing some of her maternity clothes! Yay! Glad to know that some celebrities are realistic when it comes to their bodies. I just lost all of my pregnancy weight, and my daughter’s 10 months old! I hope she doesn’t worry too much about her body and concentrates on her little boy! The newborn phase goes by so fast, and it’s time you can never get back!

Orbit is in LA, I think. It wasn’t with them at the airport when they flew out.

Ah I see… I thought I had seen her with one, but then I saw this picture. Oh well! I just can’t understand paying that much for a stroller! They all do the same thing

yeah, I noticed your pic and other stuff was right… but had to mention it so you could fix that little slip (probably made as the safeseat is so popular now)
I wonder if the orbit is a heavier seat… or maybe they were just worried about traveling with such an expensive stroller stored… though I’m sure the FAs would have made special accomodations for it since it’s a celeb.
But I know some moms who have the orbit and don’t want to travel on planes with it because they don’t want it damaged.
