Britney Spears "off the hook" with child welfare service

According to People, Britney Spears, 25, will be "off the hook with child welfare services." Britney, who has two children with ex Kevin Federline, was facing a complaint made against her to child welfare services.

Britney’s lawyer, Laura Wasser says:

It does not appear the county will pursue any action at this time.

Her lawyer also said was not sure who made the call to child welfare services “but I am trying to find out."

Britney and Kevin share custody of their two boys, Jayden James, 11 months, and Sean Preston, 23 months. Another custody hearing is scheduled for September 17 since Kevin filed for primary custody of the two boys apparently unhappy with their current arrangement.

I still think Kevin had something to do with the anonymous calls….just to create trouble. I am continuing to give Brit the benefit of the doubt and hoping she will continue her comeback as a singer AND a godd mom. Maybe if more people showed faith in her she would pull through this a better mother. At least that is my hope for her and her boys.

This just proves that rumors don’t make you a bad parent! Neither do the words of a money hungry ex-husband!

I don’t think it takes too much imagination to work out who made the call, does it?

Wow, what a double standard to keep giving Britney one free pass after another despite all the things she’s done, and yet turn around and jump to the worst possible conclusion about Kevin. I’m not sure why some are so willing to excuse everything she’s done and so quick to blame Kevin for things when you don’t even have any proof that he did them.

Not to mention, just because CPC didn’t find anything doesn’t automatically mean that nothing bad happened. I’ve turned someone in to CPC before, and I was a nanny working in their home and saw with my own eyes that they were neglecting their children to the point where their lives where in danger. But since I had no proof of it to turn over to CPC, the investigation was closed and the parents got away with it. So having an investigation closed doesn’t automatically mean no wrong doing occurred.
