Madonna, 49, and her husband, Guy Ritchie, 38, hit another snag in the adoption process of Malawian toddler David Banda, 22 months. Penston Kilembe, who is the director of Malawi’s child welfare services has been removed from the case on charges that he was getting "too cozy" with the couple. Officer Simon Chisdale will be replacing the previous official and will conduct the visit with Madonna and Ritchie over the next several days. A source says,
The whole thing is being looked at with fresh eyes.
Madonna and Guy began adoption procedures last October and David has been living with the couple and their children, Lourdes, 10, and Rocco, 7, in London.
