Kevin Bacon wants to be stuck in an elevator with his family

Who would you want to be stuck in an elevator with? For Kevin Bacon, it would be the same people he lives with — wife Kyra Sedgwick and their kids Travis, 18, and Sosie, 15. The Death Sentence star, 49, credits his family for helping him keep things in perspective.

I know it sounds corny, but my wife and children. A lot of why I’m still here is because of Kyra. Things fall down and she helps put the pieces back together. I’m a good dad, too. Being a parent is my greatest achievement along with my marriage. It gives you perspective. So a movie didn’t do well, or I got bad reviews — that’s pretty small stuff.

I love Kevin. He’s still an awesome actor – all the way from Footloose to his latest – Death Sentence. He’s such a wholesome family man and that’s something you rarely see in Hollywood. Except for Brad of course

I love kevin bacon & kyra sedgwick, having seen them in various movies/tv/etc. over many years. They appear to quite down-to-earth like the rest of us….
