Thalía celebrates her second baby shower with her Latin friends

Singer Thalía celebrated her second baby shower with her Latin friends on Saturday, followed by her 36th birthday celebrations the next day. The baby shower was held at Asian restaurant Phillipe in New York and the guests were her mother Yolanda, sister Ernestina, husband Tommy Mottola‘s children from previous marriage, Lili Estefan, designer Mitzy and a group of her childhood friends. The party was Eiffel Tower-themed with all-pink decorations and finished with the guests singing Karaoke.

Thalía’s birthday celebrations were held at Da Silvano, a Greenwich Village Italian restaurant and continued in the couple’s home were 30 guests were treated with Mexican barbeque. Thalía and Tommy’s first child, a daughter, is due October 2nd. She is yet to have a baby shower with her American friends and gay friends.

Hee hee. I know she announced her four separate showers, but it still sounds so comical to read “with her American friends and gay friends.”
