VH1 announced plans to renew their hit reality show Scott Baio is 45… and Single for a second season. Unlike the first season, which focused on the former Happy Days star’s struggle with commitment issues, the second season focuses on Scott’s impending fatherhood. The first season finale featured Scott telling his girlfriend Renee Sloan he was ready to get married, and she, in return, told him she was pregnant.

Production on the second season begins in the fall, while Scott and Renee’s first child, a baby girl, is due in December.

Yay! I loved the first season. I think it will be fun to watch Scott deal with impending fatherhood.

Wonderful I loved the first season, can’t wait for the 2nd one. Also I bet the baby will be adorable, just like scott.

Scott is this Gens Warren Beatty without the brilliant movie career and crazy sibling! LOL

I was wondering how they were going to do a 2nd season of this.

This makes me happy. I think he’ll make a great dad.

so I guess I don’t even need to keep watching this season to see whether or not he gets over his commitment issues. yay vh-1.

I missed the show, but congrats to them!

He didn’t technically ask her to marry him, at least not on camera…All he said was, “I’m ready to get married.”

The one thing about this last episode was his girlfriend talking all tough about not needing a man or Scott if he didn’t change his ways…then the next scene is her telling him she’s pregnant. I’m sorry but isn’t this pretty cliche getting knocked up so that your boyfriend has to make a choice? If she felt so unsure of him why would she let herself get pregnant?

I wish them luck anyway…

Maria on

True, Nicole, and she didn’t say yes, she said “So am I.”

Sher-Well she is already a single man & she didn’t tell him she was pg until after he said he was ready to get married. Maybe it was an accident & she didn’t plan on telling him if he decided to stay single.

Maria—I’m glad I’m not the only one that caught that. I’ve read many places he proposed. And he DIDN’T. At least not that was shown on tv. The whole episode was weird, if you ask me. It just kinda ended. The whole episode she was talking about, “He better make a commitment or I’m GONE!”, knowing she’s pregnant. Now, I’m not saying that is a reason to stay. I don’t know. Maybe it was her hormones spitting out all those things, or maybe she really felt that way. But, wouldn’t you think if she felt so strongly towards him that maybe she might try really hard NOT to get pregnant? I know it takes two to tango, BUT a woman has much more power than a man on whether she gets pregnant or not. I hope she didn’t do it to force his hand. Cause if she did, it’ll never work.
