Colorado Rockies player Jeremy Affeldt, 28, has been absent from the team since Tuesday, August 28 when his wife, Larisa, gave birth to son Walker David. He weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces.
This is the couple’s first child. They were married in 1999.
