Salma Hayek celebrates baby shower

We hear actress Salma Hayek, 40, celebrated her baby shower yesterday afternoon in the Hollywood Hills. She has not revealed a due date for her baby, but it seems to be coming soon!

I think she is due in september, I heard around her birthday, which is sept 2nd. can’t wait to see what she has, and what she names it. She is one of my favorite actresses, so I am very happy for her.

Poor Salma Hayek, from the second she found out that she was pregnant she just exploded. She’s been big her entire pregnancy! And as one who did the same thing, I sympathize with her. That body gets cumbersome to tote around all day. She’s going to jump for joy the day that baby is born.

Sarah’s note: From what we heard, she has gestational diabetes that was uncontrolled for a bit which is why she got big so fast. Everything is supposedly good now though.

She’s also really short, and short people just don’t have anywhere to grow but OUT. It sucks to be huge, though! I am 8 and a half months along and it seems no one wastes an opportunity to tell me how HUGE my stomach is. I had one girl at work say,
“If my stomach got that big when I was pregnant I would never have another baby..”!!!!!
People can be so rude!!! Thank God everything goes back for me really fast. Right after delivery, though, my stomach is like Santa’s sack after Christmas. It really freaked me out after my first!!! At any rate, it’s all worth it to have a sweet yummy happy little baby. Who can complain?!

According to US Weekly (rumors of course…allegedly from a shop handling her registry for the shower)…Salma is expecting a girl she plans to name Valentina.
