Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise in Paris

Actress Katie Holmes, 28, and daughter Suri Cruise, 16 months, were spotted out in Paris, France on Thursday. They went to the Louvre museum for a quick tour, to Avenue Montaigne, and then made a stop at Fendi and Lanvin. Mother and daughter had lunch at Laduree, between the squares of La Madeleine and Concorde. More available at Public; as well as at x17 Online.

OMG that child is absolutely stunning as is Katie. Suri seems to be a real character, gosh I could look at her face forever.

I just wish Katie would stop trying to emulate Posh, with the overdressing and high shoes and huge bag, she looks so uncomfortable. Katie is stunningly beautiful and would look just as gorgeous in casual appropriate clothes. She doesn’t have to make the same ginormous effort Posh has to make. Posh is has nothing except clothes and accessories while Katie has it all, height, natural beauty, body and the most beautiful smile. I wish someone would tell her !

Lord I love that little girl’s face! She’s so adorable and so animated. You can tell she has quite the personality! She’s such a little firecracker. As tired and hassled as Katie looks she still looks beautiful and happy. I’m not a Tom Cruise fan and I run hot and cold on Katie but they make beautiful babies.

I like their matching smiles in the first two pictures! Looking at these pics with Suri walking while Katie’s hand, I’m just curious if anyone else has had a problem with their toddler’s refusing to hold anyone’s hand while they walk? My niece is 18 months and ever since she started walking she won’t let anyone hold her hand – she will just sit there and refuse to walk if you try. She wants to do it all by herself or not at all so it’s just easier to carry her most of the time! I don’t have any kids of my own so I am just wondering if that’s a common thing. I’ve seen people comment before when there are pics with celebs carrying their toddlers that those kids are old enough to be walking by themselves…but maybe some celeb babies are like my niece and won’t walk holding someone’s hand and it’s too dangerous to let them run off by themselves, so that’s why they are being carried?

My daughter used to be that exact same way. She would pull her hand away and refuse to hold ours when we walked. She learned quickly though that she had the choice of either holding my hand, or being carried kicking and screaming. She gave in to hand holding pretty fast.

Wow, these pictures are so cute, and Suri is beautiful! Katie, too! I think it’s great that they don’t seem to use a stroller – in my opinion, there’s a time and a place for strollers, but they’re often overused. However, that being said, for us normal people who don’t have bodyguards and chauffeurs to help out if / when they’re needed, using a stroller is probably more of a necessity than it would be for Katie! If Suri melts down or if Katie needs help carrying stuff while she’s out, I’m sure she can rely on all her help to step in, whereas I live in a big city and can’t imagine a big outing without my stroller – more as a safety net. If for nothing else, I use it to push the diaper bag and our lunch around in while my daughter helps me push ) Then if she does get tired, she can climb in when she needs to. I’m also 7 mos. pregnant so I can’t exactly carry a toddler around for long distances, either! Before I was pregnant, I brought a pouch sling along in case of emergency, but I can’t do that now. (Incidentally, I can’t imagine Katie would be walking very far in those heels, anyway… but maybe she’s more used to walking in those than most people!)
