Will Ferrell out with sons on Tuesday

Actor and comedian Will Ferrell, 40, was spotted out on Tuesday with his sons — Magnus, 3, and Mattias, 7 months — and the family nanny. The photo agency caption states that the woman is Will’s wife Viveca, but this is untrue. The woman is the Ferrell’s nanny, Sara Svensoon, a Swedish friend of Viveca’s who has worked for the family since Magnus was an infant — he was the ring bearer in Sara’s recent wedding.

I think we’re all thinking the same thing here – how crazy yet confident is his wife to employ a nanny that hot? His wife seems awesome, though–didn’t Will carry her breastpump on the red carpet at the Oscars? Their kids are gorgeous.

Sarah’s note: Yes, he did, lol. I think it speaks highly of them that they have such a good-looking nanny (if that’s what she is — we now think she could be a relative as well) — I would think they must have a strong marriage. I am a nanny and I would be so angry if someone overlooked my qualifications and was insecure enough to make my looks the main hiring point.

Hot nanny! I could never imagine Will being the type that cheats, but I agree that it must speak VERY highly of the relationship between Will and Vivica that they can have such a seriously attractive nanny. I remember seeing a segment on some show a few years back about good-looking nannies who were always given snide remarks about sleeping with their bosses and rude/obsessively controlling looks and demands from their female employers. That’s got to get old fast.

I’m shocked and upset by some of these comments! “Hot nanny, not in my house!” Would you really not hire someone to look after your children, even if they had wonderful qualifications, just because they were pretty? That would say an awful lot about a person and also the faith they have in there husbands and in their nanny. I am a 20 year old nanny, blonde hair, blue eyes, and probably what most would consider beautiful. I would not think for one second about even looking at any of the husband’s whose children I care for! And I’m willing to bet that that’s the case for at least 95% of all the other “hot” nannies out there who some families wouldn’t hire.

Cory that is not true. In some countries in Europe it’s a custom to wear them on the right but in others it’s the left. I’d even say it’s more common on the left.

I think that the comments about the “hot nanny” are so sad. I am a nanny and have had people comment to my employers that they would never hire me because they would worry about their husbands. How pathetic. First, if your trust in your husband is that low I would have to say that the marriage is in trouble already. Second, I am highly qualified, love kids, I’m great at my job, and the kids I take care of love me….how does what I look like effect that? Third, who’s to say that a “hot nanny” would be interested in your husband? If the woman in those pictures is in fact the family’s nanny, then I’m sure she could have her pick of any single man her age, famous or not. Why would she pick a married man with children who is considerably older than her? If women want to hire a disheveled looking older nanny who apparently doesn’t care enough about herself to try to look put together, and is probably sitting on the couch rather than a younger woman who will play on the floor and run around with the children and respects her job enough to try to keep up her appearance and look like she cares about herself, that is her choice…but if she does that to keep her husband “faithful” I think that is very sad.

My kids’ nanny is a gorgeous 18 year old Peruvian girl and I trust her and my husband completely! She has saved my sanity on many occasions and takes great care of my children. Just because she’s gorgeous doesn’t mean she’s interested in stealing my 42 year old husband away from me, and if it ever turned out that my husband was turned on by an 18 year old girl and wanted to mess around with her, GOOD RIDDANCE. If a man really wants to mess around on his wife, he will find someone to do it with. An ugly or old nanny is NOT going to save that marriage.

I read an article in a swedish newspaper about Wills nanny and she is very pretty. She is from Sweden, her name is Sara Svensoon, 27, and she is a friend of Viveka, Wills wife. She has worked extra as a nanny for the family for three years. There were pics earlier this summer when she married. Magnus carried the rings.
Here is a link too a pic of her and Magnus from the wedding. It´s hard too tell if it´s the same woman as in the pics above because you only see her from behind.

If your hubby will cheat with the hot nanny, he may cheat with the ugly one, too. If you are that worried, you shouldn’t allow him around other females.

Will’s kids are cute. I love his movies. And I love that he and his wife employ a ‘hot nanny’ even if she is Viveca’s friend.

The discussion about the nanny is quite pathetic. Most Swedes look like this, nothing spectacular about it. Swedes have friend-to-friend trust. Swedes have wife-to-husband trust. And if he against all expectations decides to cheat on her, then what good character is he in her life?
We obviously suffer from cultural differences. It is that dating tradition of yours that initially upsets and complicates the first man to woman relationship comprehension. Then comes the staying-home-mom tradition to further ruin it.

@Cory, for your info, in Sweden we wear the wedding ring on the left hand (unless maybe you’re left-handed).

Also, the nanny’s last namy is most likely Svensson, ie Sven’s son(not Svensoon).
