I think it is wonderful that celebrity

parents walk their children to school I think

it is good for both of them and it shows

that the celebrity parent has a strong

interest in their children’s education.

It should set and example for other

celebrity parents.

Is James wearing an Arsenal shirt?? Wonder why he is a fan!

Sarah doesn’t dress him very nice IMO. In this picture alone purple crocs, red bag he is carrying, and his pants look so high like they don’t fit. He is one of the few celebrity kids, that isn’t dressed cute IMO.

Sarah’s note: She’s said before that they let him dress himself.

Oh my fav celeb boy! How he’s not dressed badly, black pants with red shirt combines very well. As to the shoes, not everyone is looking down to notice. I think Sarah does very well letting him choose his own clothes, I can remember how bad it was when my mom choosed mine when I was his age. He’s so cute and looks smart and sweet. Must be a cute kids to have around.

i know they let him choose his own clothes, but the pants look too small!!! I have never enjoyed seeing pics of him and I hate saying that!!! I’m sorry, I would HAVE TO dress him once in awhile!! :)

tink1217 I agree with you. I see nothing wrong with letting kids pick an item or two they wanna wear, but to let them pick their entire outfit, um no thanks. Kids are kids, and I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable if my kid at 4yrs old went to school or out the door all mismatched, and his pants look so high, and like you said too small. But everybody’s different I guess. Just like I don’t walk out the door looking messy or mismatched, I personally don’t feel comfortable letting children walk out like that either.

My mother was inflexible about dressing me in what she picked, and her taste was horrible — I was always picked on and even my teachers commented on how ill-chosen my clothes were. So when my daughter was small, against my better instincts, I let her pick her clothes. (Like her mother, she was very strong-willed and I decided to pick my battles.) She picked some mind-boggling outfits, but the teachers were used to it, and peer pressure worked VERY well to bring her into line.

He’s adorable, I love the mix-matched outfits that kids put together. We get to pick out our own clothes, why can’t they? I can see if it’s a special occassion, but what’s the harm in letting the kid express himself?

But the Mets hat.. now that’s something I might not allow my son to wear ;P

I think it’s quite sad that people are sitting back critiquing and making mean comments about the attire of a defenseless four year old. If his clothes are not an issue for him or his mother then what is the point really?

- lizzielui on

Here, here lizzielui why repress a four year old who as madam pince said may give in to peer pressure anyway later in life. I applaud SJP and MB for encouraging the creativity in their son and this can only lead to a more individual and free person rather then another conforming member of society. God knows we have enough of those.

For what it’s worth… school hasn’t yet started in NYC so she couldn’t have been walking him to school. Camp?
