Matilda’s car seat is a Britax roundabout in Jefferson tan ($200) attached to a GoGo Kidz Travelmate ($80).

Britax carseat? Ha, ha…I’ll bet Mom won’t be too happy to see those dirty little feet :)

- Amanda on

Is that a gogokidz thing holding the carseat or some other kind of transportation system?

- PSB on

the carseat looks like a britax roundabout in jefferson tan

good seat, too bad the straps are twisted and not tight enought and the chest clip needs to be a bit higher

- Amy W on

Matilda will fly alone with her nanny??

- sil on

I’m thinking of getting a go go travelmate does anyone know how it’s stored during the flight? is it a carryon? do you put it on flight seat? or on the overhead compartment?

- Isabel on

That is pretty cool! That it A LOT easier than carrying a sleeping child around and taking them out and putting them into car seats!

- Adrianne on

Very cute baby! FYI, the car seat is a Britax Roundabout.

It is good to see celebrities taking airline safety seriously and putting their child in a safety seat on the airplane instead of holding him/her on their laps. I like what Heath has done in getting an airline/car seat with wheels! So cute and practical!

- Dawna on

ugh… twisted loose straps… and if she’s ff, they need moved up.

I hate seeing carseat misuse.

the chest clip should be at her armpits when the straps are untwisted.

and that’s a Britax Roundabout she’s in.

Why aren’t Heath and Michelle in the same location? I know Heath is filming Batman so is Michelle filming something elsewhere?

Sarah’s note: Yes, she’s filming ‘Synecdoche, New York .’

- Charity on

Aww! Matilda seems like a pretty laid-back kid, and she’s the spitting image of her father!

- Lauren on

Is it me or could most people not send off such a small child with her nanny on an airplane? I would be WAY too nervous about that. Going to the park is one thing, but traveling on a plane is another…just looking at her sleeping getting strolled off into the airport would worry me and break my heart.

- Jurnee on

Aww she’s so cute! But are they broken up?

Sarah’s note: No, Michelle is just filming a movie right now.

- Scorpia on

I thought Heath and Michelle would never get a nanny because they would work their schedules out so somebody is always home while the other works,so what was a nanny doing taking Matilda on the plane?

Matilda is cute.

- Jenny on

I love her tanned skin and blond hair. She seems like such a beach baby, even though she’s from Brooklyn. (Though there’s always the coast…;)

- Xan on

Jurnee i know what you mean, it’ll also break my heart. Heath and Michelle seem to be cool about it tough. The little girl is cute, but the nanny needs to dye her roots!

- diana on

Who says the nanny isn’t someone they know well? How do you know she’s not going to be periodically checking in with the parents? I don’t know why people like to assume that celebrities are worse parents than they are.

- Abbey on

She is a cutie. I don’t think I have ever seen a picture of her with shoes on. She is old enough where she probably is walking around all the time. I am surprised they don’t put shoes on her. Usually, celebrity parents spare no expense when it comes to baby shoes. Heath and Michelle are quite the opposite.

Sarah’s note: She wears those yellow Crocs quite a bit.

i believe on the plane you can buckle it into the airplane seat & it is still FAA certified (don’t flame me if I’m wrong people- i said I THINK). However having said that unless they’ve changed it in the past couple years significantly- it is a really big pain to do so and really hard to buckle in appropriately. also you cannot buckle it into the car with the travel mate on the back- it is very dangerous. lastly- check which model you buy bc the earlier models only worked with the roundabout and the marathon and the newer ones work with more carseats.

momof2- Thanks for the info!! I was hoping someone would reply. I appreciate it! :)
