Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt take a boat ride in Chicago with children

Actors Angelina Jolie, 32, and Brad Pitt, 43, take their four children on a boat ride yesterday to see the Chicago air and water display. The boat ride didn’t last for long — the waters were choppy, it started raining and Shiloh Nouvel, 14 months, also seemed uncomfortable in her life jacket. Maddox Chivan, 6, and Pax Thien (not pictured), 3 1/2, played around together, while Zahara Marley, 2 1/2, became exhausted and finished the ride asleep in her mother’s arms. Maddox wears a shirt from their trip to the Field Museum last week — the Black Sue Skull Youth T-Shirt ($13). On it is the ‘Sue’ — the largest and most complete T Rex which is housed at the Field Museum.

So BEAUTIFUL! I just love this family! It’s so cool that every weekend, mom and dad take time out to actually do things with their kids. And, I actually find it really admirable how much effort they make to take them out to new and fun activities in face of the paparazzi and crowds they draw everywhere they go. It would be a lot easier for them to say “oh, I can’t be bothered this weekend” and letting a nanny keep the kids occupied in the backyard, but they are always out and about with them themselves. Awesome.

Shiloh and Zahara are getting SO big! I love how they always dress their little girls in white. It suits their beautiful faces so well.

We were just in Chicago — The shirt Maddox is wearing is from The Field Museum. It is a picture of “Sue” — their T-Rex that is the largest and most complete recovered T-Rex in the world.

We live in Chicago, and it’s nice to see them taking the kids to all the best places Chicago has to offer – the Field Museum is a world class museum and it’s great that Brad and Anglina are in town the weekend of Chicago’s Air and Water Show – I’m sure everyone had a fun time!

They are such a great looking family. Beautiful kids. I love Maddox’s shirt. We actually took our girls to see a T-Rex Named Sue when they brought the traveling exhibit to Oklahoma. She was huge. Our 9yr old loved it.

While I am not a big Angelina fan, I do wish this family the best. They seem so close-knit and they look so cute together. There are children involved who are clearly attached to their parents so I hope for the best for them for that alone. Those kids deserve the best (well frankly, all kids do) Shiloh and Zahara are the cutest!

Shiloh does wear a lot of white. My children didn’t wear a lot of white as they would get too grubby. I think side on, Shiloh looks so much like Brad especially around the eyes but she definitely has her mother’s lips.

Anyone else notice when it comes to this family people like to throw out the word “always” and at least to me it’s used in a negative. Like Shiloh “always” wears white. If she did “always” wore white (she doesn’t but) would that be a bad thing? Like when people said the girls are “always” dressed like boys. Or when in New Orleans, Shiloh “always” was dresssed in dark colors. Oh one other word people like to use is “never” as in Angelina “never” holds Shiloh. It’s as if this family is judged in absolutes. Too bad because what I see is a nice family on a nice outing.

I totally ADORE this family!! I am such a huge fan of Angelina – and I have to say, I am worried about her!! She looks like a size -10! I mean she is too skinny! Her poor legs look like twigs! I too love this family and I was not always a fan of this couple (they’ve grown on me more so then others).

Shiloh is def. a Gerber baby! She’s got the most precious little face. Zahara is also a beauty. I can’t believe how big Maddox is getting and how much Pax seems to be adjusting so fast. Well, in that pic of Brad holding her, again I see Angie. But she’s always going to be looking like one or the other, depends on the faces she makes. And that one of her sucking her thumb is just adorable! Just like and her assortment of blankies, Shi seems to as well.

The Jolie-Pitt kids are adorable, as always (especially Z and Shiloh!)!
That said, I have to chuckle that people have mentioned the fact that Shiloh is dressed in white….but nobody mentioned the fact that Z is also wearing a white shirt in these pics.
Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like Shiloh’s outfits get noticed and commented on more than the other kids’ outfits. I am not saying this to be mean or picky or anything, just making an observation.
