I can’t believe US Court gave David the custody of their daughters. I have heard about David’s alcohol problem since ages, and some months ago I read an interview that Hello magazine made to Pamela and it was obvious that she was a good mother, that she fought to help her husband and to get all her family together. Besides, she talked about the pain she was suffering since their motorbike accident some years ago, the medicines she need, and the little help David showed to her wife the first year, when she was in a wheelchair during some time. So, or Pamela lied very well in that interview, or David with all his money and influence, has got whatever he has wanted. I don’t understand neither his daughters. They can love their father, of course. But if their mother is right, they should know what the family has going on. They are no longer little girls. Sorry about my English. It’s not my first language.

Exactly what I was thinking Stacy. Why are they getting all worked up the girls are in high school….mature enough to make their own decisions.

I think it’s all hurt feelings because the girls most likely chose to live with their Dad. Judges take everything into consideration when making their judgments.

They probably did give their opinions- I know when my parents divorced when I was 8 they asked me and I said I wanted to go with my mother. From talking to me they said I was too “attached” to my mother and awarded custody to my father, but my parents decided things on their own.

Also, you never know what goes on behind closed doors. The girls might have said they’d rather be with their dad and that’s what upset her.

I find this quite weird. Surely a 14 and 17 year old are old enough to have strong opinions about which parent they want to live with? Would a judge not take their wishes into account? It’s not as though they are vunerable toddlers. Especially the 17 year old – I find it bizarre that a custody order would be made about a teenager who is just about to become legally responsible for themselves – you would think they’d ask the girls where they want to live and go with it. Unless of course they don’t want to have to choose between their parents. Or aren’t able to split their time. Odd.
