Princess Haya of Jordan pregnant with her first child

Princess Haya of Jordan and husband Sheikh Mohammed of Dubai are expecting their first child together at the end of 2007 or beginning of 2008, according to Netty Royalty page. The webpages of Haya and Mohammed don’t mention anything however, so it might just be a rumour, although the Princess was quoted saying she didn’t want to know the sex of the baby. The latest pictures of Haya show a baby bump though, photos by Profimedia, ANP and Isifa.

The couple married in April 2004 and Haya is the junior wife of the Sheikh, who already has another wife, Hind bin Maktoum, although she is not a public figure and keeps a low profile. Mohammed and Hind have 16 children, 7 sons and 9 daughters. He is also one of the richest rulers of the world. Haya is a Princess of Jordan by birth and daughter of the late King Hussein and Queen Alia. Her brother, Ali, also welcomed his second child with wife Princess Rym, a boy called Abdullah, who joined the couple’s first daughter, Jalilah, in March 2007.

I so happy for Princess Haya and Sheikh Mo. She’ll be a great mom. She is my favorite royal and I wish good health for her and her baby.

Mabrook! Princess and Your Husband.

Char, your post above has some mistakes. The 1st “official” wife is Sheikha Hind bint (not “bin”, which means son) Al Maktoum. Mo and Hind have 11 children together (5 boys and 6 girls). Hind is his second wife. And some of the other children are from his 1st wife who is not Emirati (but she is Arab) and is not acknowledged publicly. No one knows much about her but she is the mother of 4 or 5 children (2 boys and maybe 2 or 3 girls). The oldest daughter’s mother is unknown but she is part Lebanese. :)

Thanks Audery for your corrections! It’s in fact quite complicated to have correct information about the Sheikh’s wives and other children, as they are quite low profile people and tend to keep their lives to themselves, so the information I found was from a webpage, but as they never officially confirmed the births nobody knows such details with certainty, as you mentioned.

I don’t think that the oldest child of Mo is part Lebanese. It is what people say on the internet but no one knows the whole truth.
