Maybe it’s just me… but my kids are 33 mos & 14 mos and I think Alabama is too old for a bottle. Maybe a bedtime one for soothing… but juice??? Seemingly undiluted pure juice in a bottle in the middle of the day? She’s waaaay big enough for a sippy cup, water bottle, regular cup, whatever.

this kids are so cute i love alabama blonde hair, and landon balck hair and both have beautiful eyes
they are so big
but where is atiana i saw a video yesterday of travis, shanna, landon and alabama but atiana wasnt there where is she why she is never with them?

- denisse on

Such beautiful children. Travis is pretty cute, too!
Perhaps Atianna is spending time with her Dad. Also, she is old enough to be at a friend’s house. She may be at a sleepover or in school, and people assume she is unwanted. Travis and Shanna struggled with how much they should expose her when filming “Meet The Barkers”. Too much camera time and you’re exploiting or endangering them, too little and they are “ignored”.

- Taylor on

what about that baby being so old and still drinking out of a bottle? isnt that suppose to be bad for her?

Danielle’s note: Currently most doctors and dentists are recommending transitioning to sippy cups and straw cups at one year due to formation of cavities and other dental issues.

Cute kids ;) But why does he need a nanny when he has only 2 kids? Obviously, a 3 1/2 year old can walk and dad can hold the younger one, so why the nanny? Why not spend time with your children, just you and them?;) as a mom of four children under the age of 5, I know what I’m talking about, and he shouldn’t need a nanny to go out with him when he only has 2 children. I don’t think it’s right.. But hey, that’s just me :P

- Miranda on

I saw that he has atiana’s name tattoo on him but i never see him take her out..or shana to be honest. I know oscar de la hoya really isn’t in her life…I hope to see her out w/ her sibblings oneday

- jlove on

why must people always make it their business as to how long someone else’s child takes a bottle is carried etc. Geez there is child abuse in the world running rampant worry about that.

- bell on

Very cute kids–bottle or no bottle–juice or no juice–diluted or concentrated. As usual, annoying, pesky anti-bottle posters…really anti-anything that isn’t written in the Granola Mom’s Guide To Dogmatic Parenting. Yawn.

Danielle’s note: Not giving juice isn’t limited to “granola” moms. Juice has little nutritional value, has as much sugar as soda, gets kids used to drinking sweet instead of water or milk, and is bad for teeth, esp when using a bottle. If you want to give juice, It’s a good idea to dilute so the child doesn’t get used to a such a sweet taste. And by the way, excessive sugar consumption can lead to cavities and/or obesity- any doctor or dentist will tell you that.

i never said atiana wasnt loved or was ignored by shana or travis, i just said how cute can be see a pic of atiana, landon and alabama together because they are so cute and i will die for see a pic of the 3 of them together

i have a question on meet the bakers how atiana calls travis? does she call him dad because he has been with her so much time but i dont remember how she calls him someone knows?

- denisse on

It cracks me up that he’s got the little one and the nanny has the big one!:D Seems like it should be the other way around. They’re both cuties.

- Nicole on

I clicked on the comments section because I knew there would be comments about the bottle. Yep.

I am pretty sure that landroverdisco knows about all of the “rules”. She is not saying that what they are doing is right, just that these things are always noted. I think the note back to her was too much.

- Cheryl on

denisse – Atiana called Travis by his regular name on the show, she didn’t call him dad or anything like that. Interesting since Travis and Shanna are always bragging about how he is like her real dad.

- Elena on

Cute kids, both are so adorable.

What I find tiring are comments from people who just have to fire back at other people who make their opinions known when there is disagreement to something that is pictured in the posts. Every person is entitled to free thinking and free speech and many times there is something to be learned in people’s opinions whether pro or con.

Readers are allowed to make comments on this board, so who are you to say that because there are (and will continue to be) people who don’t necessarily agree with children past the age of 15 months drinking from a bottle or a 3 yr. old tot still sucking on a pacifier or dislike nipples being shown or WHATEVER!, you feel the need to say that you are sick and tired of reading comments of this nature and resort to name-calling!

One doesn’t have to address a poster by name to know which ones are being singled out. As comment policy states on this site “anything that insults readers of the site” will not be allowed and I think that rule is broken when we find ourselves or other posters being insulted or ridiculed for our thoughts.

In all probability reasons exist for feeling the way we do about certain subjects and a few of us have been around the block more than twice so we might know an extra thing or two on what we deem fit to comment about. You don’t have to agree with all comments, but please don’t insult people that have different views from your own.

- Alioop on

I love this family! My sister and BF are dentists and the other thing about bottles is you shouldn’t put juice in them – juice should only ever be in a cup!

Adorable kids :)

- Katei on

I understand that juice shouldn’t be given in a bottle especially undiluted. BUT in the grand scheme of things is the child’s very life at risk? I am so glad that everyone is always a perfect parent all the time. How about if we do have our own child unless we see that a child is being abused or neglected we worry about our own and if we don’t let’s contrubute to anti child abuse programs. There are many out there. Obviously this chld is loved and cared for.

- bell on

Have you noticed that Shanna is never seen out with her kids unless it’s for an event or photo-op?

- Kelly on

She’s 19 months old! Let her use a bottle, for God’s sake, do everybody think to be perfect parents? Maybe you let your kids do certain things that Travis Barker doesn’t agree with. There are so many kids in the world using bottles till they’re almost 3 (along with solid food, normal cups and sippy ones). The same with pacifiers, you can find many to kids over 18 months out there. Let kids be kids, and babies be babies and toddlers be toddlers. And the same with strollers, which most of them are form kids up to 4 years old, and everybody goes mad for seeing a 2 year-old sometimes.

If I was her mom, I’d let her use a bottle.

That girl is just beautiful, and the boy is cutie pie.

- Ana on

i agree that she shouldn’t have juice in her bottle, but what’s the big deal about her drinking out of a bottle? i wanted to drink out of my bottle every morning until i was 4 years old. ofcourse i drank out of a sippy cup and a glass aswell, but i just found it very hard to let go of my bottle. no big deal. alabama is only 19 months!

- Philippa on

cute daddy..
and the kids are pretty cute too :)
travis’ laces are untied though. i hope he didn’t trip at any point and drop his kid.

- chas on

I think this is such a cute picture! But why is Travis wearing a winter hat in the summer.
LOL, but the kids are really cute.

- Anne on

The bottle comments….grrrrr… We can’t get our 13 mo old off the bottle, and I would hate to hear everyone’s opinions on that. I’d rather him be nourished and happy then force him off the bottle before he’s “ready”, even if he’s 19 mos! We had a heck of a time getting him from boob to bottle, so I know we’re in for some frustrations with this transitions. He’s only in the 16th percentile, so we’ll just wait it out!

- Gracie on

i love their shoes Landon is wearing winter and Bam has summer shoes. Maybe Bam’s bottle is like a blanket for others. Who knows?

- sarah on

My nephew is 2 and uses a bottle (w. juice) but he’s got a disability. His mother however is a bit of a slacker when it comes to trying to get him off the bottle. I keep begging her to work at it because to me they look foolish with them in their mouths. However, some kids really are attached.

- J.M. on

J.M., if your nephew has a disability then maybe getting him off the bottle is not as high a priority as other issues they are dealing with, and they plan to deal with it in time.:)

My son also has a disability, and while he was great at getting off the bottle, the sippy cup is another matter. I would hate to be descibed as a “slacker” (by a family member no less) when each day presents numerous struggles. Peace.

- Cheryl on

It was hot in LA on Monday….Landon must of been burning up in those shoes!!

- Christina on

Christina.
I’m sure Landon isn’t in any discomfort from wearing those uggs. despite how warm they look, they are perfectly fine to be worn all year round. The sheepskin is breathable so can hold heat in the winter while releasing heat in the summer.

- ht on

SMH @ how y’all dissect these pictures. Cute pics, however, and it’s great to see Travis out and about with his kids. Alabama can drink juice in a bottle until she is ready to quit!

- Ron on

My Goddaughter is born the same day as the little girl. She takes a bottle, when it is nap time, or bed time, other then that she drinks out of a cup. We will see if she regresses, she will become a big sister in the next week. The only time she may take a sucky (pacifier) is when she sees another kid with one, and then she wants one, but never inbetween.

- Angela on

leave travis and his kids alone.travis is a good dad and he knows what he’s doing and his kids are obvoiusly very loved by him.so what if shanna isn’t with them.she doesn’t have to go everywhere they go.everyone knows she’s not as involved witht he kids as travis is.i think it’s nice to see a dad so involved in his kids lives.good for him, and keep up the god work travis
